Join the Medulla & Co team as a Salon Manager at our new salon at Holt Renfrew in Square One. As part of our small team, the Salon Manager will work alongside our Salon Creative Director to build and shape our new dream team of talented Stylist's and Colourists!

Responsibilities

- Open and close the salon
- Provide guidance to new and existing clients on procedures and salon etiquette
- Schedule clients for services in person, online and by phone
- Process payments; ensure the cash register is balanced
- Educate clients on products and keep them up-to-date on current promotions
- Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff
- Plan and control budget and inventory
- Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems
- Hire, train and supervise staff
- Manage contracts for advertising or sponsorship together with head office Marketing team
- Optimizing various social media company pages together with head office Marketing team


Requirements

- Be awesome!
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Exceptional problem solving skills with focus on high impact solutions
- 3-5 years Management experience in a salon/spa environment
- Proficient in Milano SAM software or alternative scheduling program an asset
- Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Google Docs, Microsoft and computer knowledge
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
