Description

Principal Objective:

Drive retail sales in assigned doors, provide education support through counter coaching, artistry training and event participation.

Accountabilities:

Work with National Brand Manager to determine and address the needs of individual artists and stores
Work with the Brand Manager on training techniques and product updates Drive retail sales to achieve plan
Develop artistry, selling and clientele skills of Makeup Artists through hands-on demonstration and follow-up
Review retail performance using the Daily Business Record (DBR)
Partner with Brand Manager to determine and identify the developmental needs of Makeup Artists
Act as a “Bobbi 101” Orientation Program Coach
Work one-on-one with each new hire within their first week on the job
Communicate with Global Artistry on makeup application skills and development
Demonstrate strong Bobbi Brown makeup artistry skills
Conduct trainings as needed, including department breakfasts, counter coaching, in-store workshops, specialized retailer programs
Assist Education Executive, as needed, during Basic and Seasonal training seminars
Support each retailer’s Clientele system by coaching Makeup Artists on proper Clientele procedures to increase client base and build relationships with customers
Ensure that each makeup artist properly utilizes sales building tools such as appointment books, clientele and replenishment systems, outreach programs, promotional calendar, and special events
Communicate education needs to Brand Manager
Recognize top performers and provide positive feedback
Recruit new potential candidates and pre-screen for future positions
Assist Business Manager and team as they prepare for upcoming events
Coach teams on appointment bookings following the information in the event guidelines
Identify key local freelance and coordinate freelance artists for events
Provide assistance in the preparation and transportation of makeup caddies and supplies for events. Assist teams with event set-up
Monitor and reinforce image guidelines and dress code
Maintain merchandising guidelines and counter cleanliness
Communicate with store management during each visit

Qualifications:

2+ years relevant work experience in cosmetic industry
Makeup artistry skills
A proven track record of planning and executing events, achieving retail sales plans, and demonstrating outstanding customer service skills
Strong leadership, communication (both verbal and written)
Superior organizational skills
Computer skills
Valid driver’s license and current valid passport
Travel,via both air and rail, within North America (Canada & US) for extended periods of time is a requirement
