Description
The Sales Trainer will serve as a key partner in driving sales in our Retail & Wholesale locations by training and coaching employees on product knowledge, selling techniques and artistry skills through direct interactions within our retailers. The Sales Trainer will partner with the management teams to strategize on how to improve overall education execution, key sales performance indicators,key category penetration and attain sales objectives. The Sales Trainer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external management.
Responsible for working with Sales teams to achieve sales and KPI expectations for the territory
•Demonstrate and teach strong service and selling skills, through personal interactions with the customers and role playing with employees
•Execute visits to retailer locations to educate employees, drive sales and strengthen brand relationships
Strengthen brand identity by creating consistency within each store and each retailer
•Adapt style and approach to meet the needs of each retailer business, employee and customer creating appropriate training experiences for each
•Facilitate education seminars to include; 2 Day Basic, Seasonal Trainings, New Store Openings, and retailer specific trainings i.e. Nordstrom Stay and Play, Sephora Encore, SiJCP TTT, etc.
•Responsible for full cycle training seminar execution to include coordinating training times, locations, participants, set up and break down
•Support and participate in the execution of successful (removed the term retail here prior to events) events
•Create and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external (removed the word retail here) management
•Provide ongoing development for various retailer managers focused on the training and development of their teams in the areas of product knowledge, artistry techniques, service and selling techniques
•Provide ongoing feedback to retailer managers on the performance of their team and ways in which to improve their performance
•Participate in District/Regional meetings and conference calls to provide partnership and create solutions to address business needs
•Participate in Regional Sales & Training Meetings and “Train the Trainer” sessions
•Uphold Bare Escentuals Dress Code Guidelines & consistently demonstrate a polished and professional appearance, frequently changing makeup styles to reflect current trends by wearing seasonal looks
•Responsible for teaching makeup application techniques while constantly improving and evolving personal artistry skill
•3 years’ experience in a Retail selling environment
•1 year of experience in training and facilitation
•Cosmetic experience preferred
•Proven ability to facilitate educational seminars, ensuring participant learning and mastery of content
•Demonstrated ability to drive sales through developing teams and providing exceptional customer service
•Ability to listen and understand the needs of the customer, connecting products to their needs
•Ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships
•Ability to interact with all levels of management in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment
•Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
•Effective planning, organizational and time management skills
•Possesses professional appearance with the ability to uphold BE Dress Code Guidelines
•Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
•Able to stand for up to 8 hours
•Ability to travel 80%
•Possess a personal vehicle to be utilized for business purposes
•Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays
