Description
We are currently searching for an energetic and innovative individual to join the Collega Aveda team as the National Sales Manager. This position will be primarily responsible for the growth of our national hair business. The successful candidate will be results driven and have a strong passion for sales, fashion and the beauty industry.
As the National Sales Manager you will be primarily responsible for the following:
Essential Functions:
• The development and execution of sales strategies for both new business opportunities and existing clients
• Designing, developing, and delivering professional development education sessions when required
• Maintaining an accurate and up to date calendar and event schedule
• Act as the direct liaison with the sales team to ensure that new business accounts receive the necessary product education they require for success
• Actively communicating with existing accounts to assess any possible education opportunities
• Produce weekly update reports outlining activity and network performance
• Provide input in developing and implementing creative concepts, policies, procedures and promotional ideas
• Work with our Creative Team surrounding any special promotional campaigns / product launches
• Evaluate performance of network salons in the growth and mature designations
• Publish a Monthly Newsletter or Virtual Communication
As the National Sales Manager you will meet the minimum requirements outlined:
Requirements:
• Possess 3+ years of working experience at a national sales capacity (experience within the salon / fashion / beauty environment(s) is a definite asset)
• Have strong administrative abilities including solid proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Be a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player
• Have the flexibility to travel across Canada when needed
• Be goal oriented, self-driven to achieve consistently high results
• Proven leadership, and people management skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate bilingually in French is a definite asset
