LUSH is an international retailer of fresh handmade cosmetics known worldwide for our unique bath and beauty products, amazing skin and hair care, personalized customer service, environmental activism, and a wickedly fun atmosphere. LUSH makes effective products using fruits and vegetables, the finest essential oils and ingredients that are ethically and sustainably procured from around the world. LUSH DOES NOT USE ANIMALS to test products, nor do we use animals to test the ingredients that go into our products.
LUSH is a rapidly growing company and we’ve got tons to write home about! We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, who brings creativity and a fresh perspective to the LUSH world of words.
What we’re looking for:
•Post-secondary education, preferably in English, Communications, or Marketing
•Exceptional oral and written communication
•Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
•Detail oriented, exceptional proof-reader, and quick wit for creativity on the fly
•Ability to work effectively both independently, and as part of a team
•A positive attitude and great sense of humour
•This is a full time position, based at our head office in Vancouver, BC. You must be authorized to work permanently in Canada.
Your key responsibilities will be:
•Writing engaging copy for the website, LUSH Times catalog, LUSH Life newsletter, and product and retail signage
•Working closely with the Content, Web, Design and Marketing teams
•Supporting campaigns and all print materials
•Adhering to tight deadlines and last minute changes
•Proactively seek opportunities to improve brand communication
•Some travel within North America and the UK may be required.
