Counter Manager (Vendor Paid) and Beauty Consultants
Ensure team is cohesively working towards building a solid business in accordance to Shiseido's Corporate philosophy.
Responsibilities are multi-faceted and include:
Managing Inventory Control
• Managing and maintaining targeted stock turns
• Identifying and planning for "In Time Inventory"
• Monitoring top selling sku's, ensuring proper product mix are in place
Managing Staff
•Hiring, and training of counter team
•Dealing with disciplinary issues should they arise
•Delegating daily, weekly, monthly goals and responsibilities
Liaising with both Head Offices (primarily through Account Executive)
•Ensuring that both Store policy and Shiseido policies are adhered to
•Meeting with Store Management and Visual Presentation to ensure all National and Divisional focuses are followed through with respect to space and location for in-store event, etc.
•Conveying the Shiseido Message to store management through on-going education
Planning and Implementing Events
•Following the National Marketing Calendar for monthly focuses
•Planning weekly in-store events to correlate and coincide with Shiseido's national calendar and store's calendar
•Creating and executing events for new product launches, etc
•Creating new events over and above the national marketing calendar
•Planning new events that will help ensure the move upwards in store ranking
Building Relationships
•Educating store management and personnel on Shiseido products and philosophy so to ensure that all efforts are beneficial for both parties
•Building a solid new customer base and loyalty base
Sales Targets
•Setting and meeting monthly/yearly sales targets with store ranking
•Delegating sales targets to each of the counter staff
•Leading by example, by ensuring that your own sales are in line with expectations of your staff. Meet and exceed Personal Sales Goals.
•Ensure counter staff meet set goals by coaching and guidance
Creating Opportunities for Growth
•Outsourcing different business opportunities to ensure constant growth, such as working with the Account Executive to plan Beauty
On-going Training of Staff
•Training new Beauty Consultants on Shiseido philosophy and basic product knowledge
•Follow-up with regular staff to ensure proper product knowledge, and beauty method, etc.
Maintaining the Shiseido Image
• Ensure the counter image is maintained by following the merchandising schematics and upkeep of the counter hygiene
• Prepare and Analyze Post-mortems
• Prepare and submit the monthly scorecards
• Prepare and analyze each event to ensure that future events are better
• Plan and execute and follow-up with on-counter events, beauty planning and other hands-on activities
