CAKE BEAUTY INTERN
We are looking for dynamic individual(s) to work part-time at Cake’s head office. Cake Beauty is a fast-paced, growing company. Our company culture is the corner stone to our business – fun, hardworking, creative, and “non-corporate”. Candidates will work closely and directly with Cake’s team.
COMPANY OVERVIEW:
CAKE BEAUTY is a Toronto based company that creates, designs, and distributes their lush and decadent collection of high-end bath and body products throughout the world.
Cake Beauty was founded by Heather Reier a few short years ago. The collection of products can be found at Sephora, Murale and on the shelves of chic beauty boutiques and national specialty stores around the world. JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Sales support to vendors / retailers
•Assisting Marketing and Retail Operations departments
•Track and produce vendor leads
•Market and sales research
•General administrative tasks including reception, filing, data entry, follow-up
•Miscellaneous research (via the internet)
•Demo product at vendor and/or marketing events
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSES THE FOLLOWING:
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Strong organizational skills
•Strong communication skills, both oral and written
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is an asset)
•Ability to think “outside the box” (individual will sit in on strategy meetings and will be called upon to contribute creative ideas in the areas of product development, sales, retail operations, design, marketing, PR, etc.)
•Results oriented
•Excellent telephone étiquette
•Ability to multitask
This position is ideal for a 3rd or 4th year student interested in retail management, account services, marketing or entrepreneurship. Only applicants available a minimum of 2 days per week will be considered.
