Job Summary/Mission:
TallGrass is seeking a Beauty Specialist & Educator for Western Canada. This is a part time contract position which involves the development of training materials, public presentations, product education, online webinars and demo opportunities. This position will involve some travel time within Western Canada.

A TallGrass beauty educator is a resource for account managers and retailers. The educator educates on TallGrass' beauty care brands, and provides information above and beyond the standard product knowledge level. A TallGrass educator participates in ongoing monthly meetings with other beauty educators & offers insights and ideas to support our work together as a team.

Outcomes/Critical Success Factors:
•Esthetician or Cosmetologist experience
•Excellent knowledge about skin care products
•Special interest in working with natural beauty care products
•Product knowledge- in depth understanding of our beauty brands (with training provided)
•Passion- ability to convey your passion for beauty care when speaking publicly
•Inspirational- provide informative and inspiring trainings to the public
•Audience engagement- able to reach both retailer and consumer audiences
•Impactful- able to increase sales by providing outstanding seminars & product demos
•Sales ability; must be able to sell a minimum of $200 worth of product in a four-hour product demonstration

•Excellent public speaker, teacher/educator
•Knowledge of the natural health & beauty industry- an asset
•Beauty retail sales experience is an asset
•Organized & able to work well independently
•Charismatic, friendly & approachable
•Strong communication skills and team oriented
•Social media following & business website- an asset
