When it comes to YouTube beauty tutorials, there’s no need to go south of the border, we have all the talent up here! Canada’s YouTube beauty community is overflowing with hard-working young women and men who fill our feeds with inspiration, reviews, unseen releases and tips on the daily. Many are even lucky enough to call YouTube their full-time job (we’re just a little jealous)!

BNTF has put together a list of 11 Canadian Beauty YouTube channels you need to subscribe to ASAP. In no particular order, meet the faces of the Great North’s beauty scene.

1. Nee (Bebexo), Vancouver

West Coast native Nee a.k.a. Bebexo is a super successful beauty vlogger with 1.8M subscribers and counting. Her hair tutorials are second to none as they get right down to business by demonstrating a fully styled look in five minutes or less! Nee has a way of making the most complicated hairstyle straightforward and easy to replicate.

2. Krystal (Krystal Clear Makeup), Vancouver

If you’re on the hunt for detailed makeup how-tos and tutorials Krystal is your girl! Her attention-grabbing hair is only matched by her bubbly personality, which is further matched by her serious makeup skills— it’s really no wonder why she’s so popular on all social media platforms. This beauty chameleon also provides helpful solutions for those with acne-prone skin.

3. Fatima (Fatima Caser), Toronto

The glow is real! Fatima may be well known for her up close and personal selfies on Instagram but don’t sleep on her YouTube channel either. So far, she’s featured a full coverage foundation routine, lip swatches, and an everyday makeup look. Her recent collab with NYX Cosmetics as part of the Total Control Drop Foundation calendar tells us there’s much more to come!

4. Cristine (SimplyNailogical), Ottawa

Need a nail tutorial with hilarious commentary and appearances by an adorable cat named Menchie? Look no further than Cristine’s highly addictive YouTube channel, Simply Nailogical. This uber talented nail connoisseur is located in the capital and constantly delivers exciting and unique nail art content to her 3.8 million subscribers — we love the Canada Day Nail tutorial!

5. Emily (Beauty with Emily Fox), Montreal

Emily Fox is the full beauty package. From skincare tips to dupes of high-end products to huge Sephora and drugstore hauls, everything you crave can be found on her super popular YouTube channel. Consistent uploads and a positive demeanour have us looking forward to her next upload!

6. Jean François (JeanFrancoisCD), Montréal

Men in makeup are less visible than they should be, which is why we’re pleased to introduce you to Jean-Francois! The lovable MUA has two channels (one in French) where he shares everything from product reviews, tutorials and behind-the-scenes clips of his daily life. His larger than life personality will have you hooked.

7. Sylvia (BeautyCakez), Toronto

Chit chat GRWMs (get ready with me), makeovers, beauty hacks, are you subscribed yet? Watching one of Sylvia’s videos is like having a convo with your really down to earth friend who’s ten times better at makeup than you and has all the new stuff. All jokes aside, Sylvia a.k.a. BeautyCakez is a YouTube veteran having been on the scene for over seven years. Pls note: she doesn’t do brunch!

8. Stef (Stef Sanjati), Toronto

Stef is a talented beauty guru who has been making huge waves in the YouTube beauty community. Her channel, which discusses Waardenburg syndrome and gender identity, also features videos like “Feminizing make-up for trans-woman” which has reached over 180,000 people around the world. There’s so much to love!

9. Raschelle (MsRoshPosh), Toronto

MsRoshPosh shows us every week on her YouTube channel why she’s the Queen of a full glam beat. If you’ve been looking to achieve flawlessly blended skin, the smokiest eyes ever and a full pout watch two or three of her videos. As a former MAC MUA, Raschelle knows her way around a beauty counter.

10. Aya (Beauty By Aya), Ottawa

It’s all in the eyes with Aya  — her videos always start off with a warm smile that just pulls you in! This beauty guru’s videos may be entirely in Arabic but it’s easy to follow along using the products listed in the description bar. You can expect tons of glam, glitter, nude lips and killer winged liner on her channel, they’re her specialty.

11. Kyne (OnlineKyne), Kitchener

Kyne describes himself as an “artist/shapeshifter/glamazon/creator” which we think just about covers it! His YT channel, OnlineKyne, features extreme special FX makeup and wig 101s with talk-throughs and vlogs sprinkled throughout. Only 19 years old, Kyne has tons of interests that deviate from makeup but as a super talented, creative and well-spoken YouTuber, he sure has our views (and support)!
