Beauty Jobs – Fall Beauty Guide

It’s nearly fall which means it’s time to switch up your beauty routine to more daring rich tones – think rust oranges, earthy browns and vampy burgundies!

SKIN: During the spring and summer we’re all about dewy skin, but not that its fall why not try for a more matte finish to your skin!  Since other aspects of your fall beauty routine will be more dramatic, tone down your foundation, concealer and illuminator by instead going for a matte finish. A matte finish will allow you to showcase other dramatic features (like a bold burgundy lip!)

CHEEKS: Tuck away your poppy pink blushers for an earthier copper toned blush and rather than using a shimmery bronzer opt for a matte finish bronzer (like Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer). Like your skin, these matte finishes will allow you to showcase other beauty trends. My personal favourite coppery blush is Spice by Josie Maran.

BROWS: As a bold brow addict, I am all about making brows your statement feature. If you don’t already have dark brows then try Anastasia’s Brow Duo! Regardless of whether you have naturally thick brows or you fill them in, also invest in a brow gel to set your brows in place.

EYES: Try lightly dusting your lids with bronze, rust, or red-toned brown eyeshadows to achieve a moody fall makeup look. These colours apply to look quite natural while adding a pretty depth to your look.

LIPS:  Try a trend with your lips this fall by adding on a vampy burgundy or purple lip. During the fall season you’ll never find me without my favourite wine-toned lipstick – NAR’s Matte Pencil in Train Bleue!
