Beauty products that have multiple purposes can be friendly to your wallet and keep your morning makeup routine minimal and fast. I’m a strong believer that a makeup bag should only contain daily essentials, believe it or not, carrying around 7 lipsticks just really isn’t necessary. Here are a few of our favourite products that will save you time, money and space and will still keep you looking gorgeous.
1. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream, $39, available at Sephora
I’m all about skin care, I love masks, moisturizers, peels, you name it. I also know that when I’m in a rush, a five step skin care routine just isn’t practical. BB Creams are perfect for days when you don’t have time to prep your skin and then perfect your foundation. This five-in-one formula will moisturize prime, perfect, control oil and protect your skin with an SPF of 35. This BB cream is designed for camera use, so it does give a good amount of coverage without feeling as thick as a liquid foundation.
2. Nars The Multiple , $39, available at Sephora
The Multiple sticks are one of Nars most popular products and we totally understand why. The cream-to-powder formula can be used on your cheeks, eyes and lips and is available in 12 shades including the cult favourite ‘orgasm’. Add some mascara and this product is really all you need for a simple no-fuss beauty look. We like the shade G-Spot for fall, dab it on for perfect berry stained cheeks.
3. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick, Bronze, $40, available at Sephora
The five bars of gorgeous shimmery colour works great when applied with a light hand as bronzer. Everyone appreciates a bronze glow in the summer and this product mixes pearly shades and bronze hues to add a luminous effect to your skin. Use the five colours to create different bronze eye shadow looks too, the white works great as an inner corner highlight and each colour works as an all over lid shade.
